A quotation is a price, not an order
Raise one for a customer who asks what something would cost. Nothing leaves the shelf and nothing is owed. When they say yes, convert it — that raises the invoice, and the two stay linked both ways afterwards.

Who did what, and what is still owed under their name
The work columns — invoices, billed, discount, cases, collected, quotations — count only what happened between the dates below. Outstanding is different on purpose: it is what is unpaid right now across every invoice that person has ever raised, because money owed does not stop being owed when a month ends.
An invoice belongs to whoever raised it. A receipt belongs to whoever wrote it — so collecting on a colleague's invoice credits you with the collection and leaves them the invoice.

What each role can do
| admin | The economics: products, purchase rates, batches, every expense layer, landed cost and selling price. Assigns billers and viewers, and receives the notification emails. Appointed by the portal owner — an admin cannot create another admin. Can also do everything a biller does: quotations, invoices, delivery orders and collections. |
| biller | The counter: customers, sale orders, invoices, delivery orders and collections. Never sees what anything cost. |
| viewer | Management. Sees everything the admin sees — every person's invoices and collections, costs, profit, expenses, users and activity — but cannot add, change or remove anything. Not listed on Team Performance. |
If you forget your own password, ask the portal owner to reset it — for security, no one inside your company can do that.

Email Notifications to Admins
Every active admin of this company is emailed when these things change. The person who made the change is not emailed about their own edit.
What goes on your printed documents
Everything on this page is yours to change, whenever you like — no request to the portal owner, and no limit on how often. Save, and the very next quotation, invoice, receipt or delivery order comes out with the new wording on it. Documents already printed are unchanged.
